Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Previous experience as a paraprofessional or special education teacher preferred Familiarity with IEPs and individualized student support Ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and support staff Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude in diverse classroom settings Commitment to encouraging inclusion and fostering student development
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide morning support (3 hours daily) in classroom settings alongside special education teachers Assist with lesson implementation, behavior management, and adapting materials for individual needs Encourage students' participation and independence through attentive supervision and assistance Collaborate with educators and staff to maintain an engaging, safe, and respectful learning environment Document progress and communicate regularly with team members regarding student achievement
