The ideal candidate will be adaptable, patient, and able to work effectively with diverse student populations. Responsibilities
- Assist classroom teachers in implementing instructional activities and lesson plans.
- Support students with special needs in their daily activities, including academic tasks and social interactions.
- Monitor student behavior and provide guidance to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Facilitate small group activities and provide one-on-one assistance to students as needed.
- Follow school policies and procedures, including those related to health and safety. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from teachers and administrators.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting student learning and development.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and maintain a positive attitude.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with educational technology is a plus.
