Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing mechanical, electrical, facility, and manufacturing equipment. Job Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of maintenance experience or related training. Experience with manufacturing maintenance. Experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems. Computer proficiency using Microsoft Windows. Experience using maintenance management systems to receive and track work assignments. Experience maintaining equipment service and maintenance records. Valid driver's license for local deliveries. Ability to support facility needs outside normal working hours. Ability to complete Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control training and required immunizations. Preferred Skills Experience with HVAC systems. Experience with compressed air systems. Experience maintaining manufacturing equipment. Experience installing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Experience with light carpentry and construction work. Experience installing equipment according to manufacturer specifications. Experience supporting facility maintenance and energy management initiatives. Experience performing biohazard cleanup. Job Responsibilities Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and inspections on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment. Repair HVAC, compressed air, and manufacturing equipment as required. Install new equipment according to manufacturer recommendations. Install and maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Perform light to moderate carpentry and construction activities. Maintain equipment service and repair records. Use maintenance systems to receive, prioritize, and document work assignments. Coordinate equipment issue resolution with production, engineering, and related departments. Recommend equipment performance, safety, energy management, and facility improvements. Perform biohazard cleanup according to established procedures. Perform local courier and material delivery activities as required. Train new maintenance personnel on equipment and facility service procedures.
Pay:
