Job Description

KinderCare is seeking dedicated Assistant Teachers for our East Carol Stream learning center. In this on-site role, you'll support lead teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. Responsibilities include assisting with age-appropriate lessons, supervising play, maintaining classroom cleanliness, and supporting children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. You'll collaborate with a caring, inclusive team, communicate positively with families, and follow all health and safety policies while building a foundation for a career in early childhood education. Responsibilities Support lead teachers with daily classroom activities and routines. Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing environment. Assist in implementing age-appropriate lessons and play-based learning. Help maintain classroom cleanliness and organization. Communicate positively with children, families, and staff. Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Follow health, safety, and security procedures at all times. Assist with documentation of attendance and incident reports.
