Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated School Program Staff to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. The School Program Staff will play a vital role in promoting positive behavior and encouraging student participation in various activities. Candidates must be confident with children ages 2-3 years of age and demonstrate excellent attendance. Experience with toddler care highly preferred. Responsibilities Checking students in and out of Brightwheel (app used for attendance and messaging families) Supervise students during play and planned activities. Support the teacher in providing a Christian curriculum and atmosphere. Encouraging the learning process for all children Provide first aid as needed and ensure the health and safety of all students. Engage with students to promote their social, emotional, and academic development. Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other staff members regarding student progress. Participate in training sessions related to childhood development and behavior management. Skills CPR Certification is a PLUS! Knowledge of first aid procedures to ensure student safety. Teaching experience or familiarity with early childhood education principles is advantageous. Background in childcare, camp counseling, or daycare settings is beneficial. Understanding of behavior management techniques to support positive student interactions. Demonstrating a Christian lifestyle and effectively showing Christ's love to our students is very important.
