9685639-60586 Job Description Make a valuable impact supporting students by working as a contract paraprofessional in a specialized self-contained program for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning August 24th and concluding June 3rd. This opportunity involves providing essential assistance to students with a range of significant needs, including autism, medical complexities, specialized toileting assistance, and challenging behaviors. There are two immediate openings for professionals ready to step in and make a difference.

What were seeking:

Previous experience as a paraprofessional, particularly in educational settings Familiarity and comfort working with students with autism or other complex needs Willingness and ability to assist with medical, behavioral, and personal care tasks (including toileting) Adaptability, patience, and proactive problem-solving skills Professional communication ability and strong teamwork mindset Dependable attendance and punctuality Key responsibilities: Foster a supportive, safe, and structured environment for all students Implement individualized education program (IEP) strategies under the guidance of licensed staff Provide hands-on support for classroom activities, transitions, and therapies Assist with personal care such as feeding and toileting Support positive behavioral interventions as directed Communicate effectively with teachers, related service providers, and team members Maintain confidentiality and follow all school procedures and policies This position offers a structured 7.25-hour workday, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
