Job Description

KinderCare is seeking Assistant Teachers for our Round Lake Beach center to support a warm, engaging early childhood classroom. In this role, you'll work closely with lead teachers to implement age-appropriate activities, supervise children, and maintain a safe, nurturing environment. You will assist with daily routines, meals, and classroom organization while modeling positive interactions and inclusive practices. KinderCare offers ongoing training, opportunities for growth, and a collaborative culture focused on enriching children's development. Responsibilities Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities. Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing classroom environment. Assist with classroom setup, organization, and clean-up. Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Communicate positively with families and staff. Follow all health, safety, and licensing standards. Assist with meals, rest time, and daily routines. Observe and report on children's progress and behavior. Collaborate with center staff to create an inclusive environment. Participate in training and professional development.
