Job Description
A Place 2 Grow Child Care and Learning Center is looking for an Assistant Teacher who can help facilitate lesson plans within the classroom and enhance the learning environment for our students. The ideal candidate for this position enjoys working with children and is dedicated to creating a nurturing learning environment for every student. Previous experience in a childcare setting is encouraged but not required. Candidate has to be flexible and willing to work with all ages. Responsibilities Assist in managing classroom activities and maintaining a positive learning environment. Support the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities tailored to children's needs. Foster effective communication with students, parents, and staff to enhance the educational experience. Provide individualized attention to students, especially those with special needs or disabilities. Engage in childcare duties, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in the classroom. Participate in the development of curriculum and educational materials. Qualifications Strong classroom management skills Experience working with children in various educational settings Effective communication skills for interacting with students and parents Familiarity with early childhood education and childhood development principles Ability to develop and implement engaging curriculum tailored to diverse learning needs
