You'll play a key role by assisting teachers with instructional support, maintaining a positive learning environment, and providing 1:1 support for a student with diabetes. Your days will follow a MondayFriday schedule, totaling 35 hours each week. The workday includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch along with two 15-minute unpaid breaks, allowing you to recharge and stay refreshed. Your skills will be essential in helping students succeed, academically and socially, in a dynamic and nurturing school environment.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Illinois Para certification required Experience working with elementary-aged children, especially those exhibiting challenging behaviors
Preferred:
Experience assisting with toileting Capacity to respond flexibly in a busy classroom setting Compassion and understanding for students with diverse needs
What Youll Do:
