Roles and responsibilities dependent on position discussed- Instructional assistant will work with children in a Behavior Support classroom Hours/days may vary based upon position, with a maximum of 29.75 hours per week

Academic Support :

Reinforce lessons, read aloud, and guide small groups or individual students.

Behavioral Guidance :

Help manage classroom routines, redirect challenging behaviors, and provide positive feedback.

Classroom Prep :

Organize learning materials, set up equipment, and assist with general supervision outside the classroom.

Skills :

Strong communication, patience, empathy, and adaptability.
