Support students academically, socially, and behaviorally throughout the school day. Work closely with teachers to provide individualized and small-group assistance. Help students access classroom instruction and achieve their educational goals. Encourage student independence, confidence, and self-advocacy. Assist with the implementation of accommodations and supports outlined in student plans. Build positive relationships with students while helping maintain a safe and productive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and families as part of a student-centered team.What We're Looking For:
Individuals who enjoy working with teenagers and helping them succeed. Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Prior experience in education, youth development, coaching, mentoring, or related fields is a plus. Why Seymour High School?
