POSITION TITLE
In-School Suspension Paraprofessional PAY:
$20.00
CONTRACT LENGTH:
School Year - 8 hours per day

POSITION SUMMARY
To supervise in the ISS area at all times, students who do not act appropriately according to policy/procedure in the classroom.
DUTIES:
The ISS paraprofessional supervisor assumes responsibility for escorting students to and from the ISS area; obtains assignments from teachers for the students assigned to ISS; maintains order in the ISS room, according to the guidelines; maintain appropriate records as directed by the administration, including an individual file for each student assigned to ISS; (the individual file will contain records of days assigned to ISS, assignments completed, and other pertinent records) completing appropriate forms as directed by the administration. Other duties as assigned by principal.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must have ability to supervise students and maintain a quiet and orderly business like atmosphere. Maintain neat and accurate records. Attendance must be excellent. Works in standard office and school building environments. Must be able to work regularly scheduled hours. Must be able to handle stress.
