Team members work collaboratively to support classroom instruction, build positive relationships with families, and provide exceptional care while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Essential Responsibilities Child Care & Supervision Provide attentive supervision and care for children at all times. Create a warm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment. Encourage children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Build meaningful relationships with each child and family. Classroom Support Assist with implementing The CKA Experience™ curriculum. Prepare classroom materials and learning centers. Participate in classroom activities, transitions, meals, and outdoor play. Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming classroom. Health & Safety Follow all Indiana child care licensing regulations. Maintain classroom ratios at all times. Follow all health, sanitation, diapering, handwashing, and emergency procedures. Report concerns immediately to the Lead Teacher or Director. Teamwork Work cooperatively with Lead Teachers and administration. Maintain professionalism and confidentiality. Attend required staff meetings and trainings. Support the overall success of the center through a positive, team-first attitude. Community Engagement Employees may occasionally be asked to participate in community service projects, family events, or volunteer activities that support the mission of Crowned Kids Academy. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous child care experience is preferred but not required. CDA Credential is preferred but not required. Must meet Indiana requirements for employment in a licensed child care center. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Passion for working with children. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain. Successful completion of all required state and federal background checks. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Ability to sit on the floor, bend, kneel, squat, and actively engage with children throughout the day. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations. Schedule Full-time and part-time opportunities available.
