Country Kids Day Care is looking for a dependable, flexible Daycare Support Teacher to work throughout the center and help support classrooms where needed. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys working with children but does not necessarily want to be assigned to the same classroom every day. Support Teachers may assist in infant, toddler, preschool, or school-age classrooms depending on staffing needs, experience, and qualifications. What You'll Do Support different classrooms throughout the center as needed Help teachers provide a safe, caring, and engaging environment Actively supervise and interact with children during play, meals, activities, transitions, and outdoor time Assist with age-appropriate activities and classroom routines Provide hands-on care, including feeding, diapering, toileting, and other daily care needs as appropriate for the age group Help prepare and serve meals and snacks Maintain clean, safe, and organized classroom spaces Step in during teacher breaks, absences, transitions, and other staffing needs Follow classroom routines and the direction of Lead Teachers and center leadership Build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers Follow center policies, health and safety procedures, and childcare licensing requirements You'll Be a Great Fit If You Are Dependable and punctual Flexible and comfortable moving between classrooms Positive, patient, and caring with children Comfortable working with multiple age groups Able to quickly learn and follow different classroom routines Energetic and comfortable staying active throughout the day A strong team player who is willing to jump in where needed Comfortable with hands-on childcare, including diapering and toileting Able to communicate well with teachers and center leadership Interested in learning and gaining experience across different classrooms Experience & Requirements Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, school, camp, babysitting, coaching, or similar setting is a plus.
Candidates must also:
