Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Take on a key role supporting students and educators as a Virtual Onsite Para Facilitator with a focus on special education. This contract position is ideal for a tech-savvy paraprofessional eager to make a positive impact in multiple school settings. You'll play an essential part helping to implement and troubleshoot technology, ensuring SPED students connect seamlessly with virtual resources. The ability to float between schools means each day will offer variety and new opportunities to connect with students and staff. Enjoy a Monday through Friday schedule, working 37.5 hours per week, starting ASAP and continuing through the end of the school year.
Key Qualifications:
At least some classroom or paraprofessional experience (special education experience strongly preferred) Excellent tech troubleshooting ability; adept with computers, tablets, and educational platforms Strong communication skills and a can-do attitude Reliable, flexible, and able to move between school locations as needed Ability to collaborate with teachers, students, and IT staff Professionalism and patience in supporting students with diverse needsPrimary Responsibilities:
Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot technology for virtual special education programs Assist SPED students in logging in and successfully accessing online resources Provide on-the-spot technical support and problem-solving Communicate effectively and kindly with students, teachers, and support teams Support a safe, connected, and inclusive learning environment for all students Travel between local schools to provide consistent support where it's needed most For those with experience, compensation for this role is competitive and reflects your years of service—paying $24, $28, or $32 per hour depending on experience level.
