Lead Toddler Teacher or Assistant

Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to toddler development stages, incorporating literacy, motor skills, social-emotional learning, and early math concepts Create a safe, nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Manage daily classroom routines, including meal times, nap schedules, and activity transitions with patience and consistency Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to build strong partnerships Apply behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and resolve conflicts effectively Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of child development and incidents Support children with special needs through individualized instruction and collaboration with specialists when necessary Skills Experience working with children in early childhood settings, including toddler care and preschool environments is preferred. Strong knowledge of child development principles, childhood education best practices, and classroom management techniques Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing educational activities that promote literacy and physical development Familiarity with special education strategies, early intervention programs, and behavior management approaches Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively Ability to adhere to health and safety standards including first aid and CPR certification
