9576250-70058 Job Description Make a meaningful impact supporting students as an experienced paraprofessional facilitator for the upcoming academic year. This full-time, contract position involves working closely with school professionals and serving as a bridge between students and virtual providers, such as school psychologists or speech-language pathologists. You'll enjoy a consistent weekday schedule (35 hours/week) beginning in early August and concluding at the end of May.

Desired Background and Qualifications:

Associates degree, or Paraprofessional Assessment score of at least 450, or minimum of 48 completed semester credit hoursmeeting school district requirements. Prior experience working in special education (SPED) classrooms is essential. Ability to pass district-required drug screening and fingerprinting in addition to standard credentialing. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort with technologya must when facilitating virtual sessions. Excellent interpersonal communication and the flexibility to adapt as caseload, assigned schools, and student needs are determined.

Key Responsibilities:

Support students and facilitate virtual sessions with service providers such as school psychologists or SLPs. Supervise and assist students with assignments, activities, and technology in a virtual learning environment. Provide classroom management, ensuring a positive and supportive setting for all learners. Collaborate closely with faculty, administrators, and families to promote student success.
