•$20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Paid time off Employee discount Qualifications Cleaning Full Job Description The Acton Barn Cooperative Preschool is seeking a warm, caring, and dependable Temporary Part-Time Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our preschool team. This position is for the remainder of the 26-27 school year but could grow to a long-term position. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and is looking for a consistent, part-time schedule in a warm, cooperative preschool community.

Approximately 14.5 hours per week Part-time position Responsibilities Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and routines Help supervise, engage, and support preschool-aged children Participate in play-based learning and classroom activities Support children during transitions, snack/lunch, outdoor play, and other daily routines Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment Encourage positive social interactions and age-appropriate independence Work collaboratively with teachers and members of our cooperative preschool community Qualifications Experience working with preschool-aged children (MA DEEC Teacher Certification a Plus) Warm, patient, dependable, and enthusiastic Enjoys working as part of a collaborative teaching team Strong communication skills Previous childcare or early childhood education experience is a plus About The Acton Barn Cooperative Preschool We are a cooperative preschool community dedicated to providing young children with a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate early childhood experience.
