You will work closely with teachers and therapists to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that fosters growth and development. Your passion for education and commitment to helping our student succeed will shine through as you assist the teacher and all therapists during their sessions and provide carry-over services afterwards. What you'll do Apply what you have learned from teachers and therapists to help our student practice and re-practice what she has learned. Help our daughter's nurse with mobility exercises and all two person assists. Assist with feeding and toileting. Prepare work area and materials for each therapist. Maintain a safe and nurturing environment. Basic qualifications Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting. Strong communication skills to interact positively with students, parents, and staff. Must have reliable transportation and live locally. Preferred qualifications Background in special education or experience working with individuals with disabilities.
