In this role, you will support lead teachers in delivering high-quality early education experiences, helping children learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and nurturing environment. Key responsibilities Assist the lead teacher in planning and implementing daily lesson activities and routines Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate learning activities, play, and meals Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment at all times Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's daily progress Support children with special needs and ensure inclusive participation in all activities Follow all childcare regulations, licensing requirements, and center policies Assist with diapering, toileting, feeding, and other personal care needs as required Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred Bilingual in Spanish and English required — ability to communicate with children and families in both languages Prior experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting preferred Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Must pass a background check and comply with all state licensing requirements Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
