Job Description

Old Rochester Regional School District's Sippican Elementary School, located in Marion, MA, seeks a caring and collaborative paraprofessional to support kindergarten students. This additional 0.23 FTE one-year position will provide classroom support in response to increased kindergarten enrollment.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting learning activities under the direction of classroom teachers.

Assisting individual students and small groups with academic, social, and behavioral skills.

Reinforcing classroom routines, transitions, and student independence.

Collaborating with staff to maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment.

Experience working with young children is preferred. Candidates must meet district paraprofessional qualifications.

Schedule:

Part-time, 0.23 FTE, during the school year. Specific hours will be determined based on student and classroom needs.
