In this role, you will work with our current team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored to the individual needs of each infant, through engaging activities and personalized care. You will help lay a strong foundation for each child's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and inspired to explore their world. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in our littlest learners. Responsibilities Provide attentive care that meets each child's individual needs, including feeding, diapering, and comforting as required. Create a safe, clean, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning through play. Be comfortable speaking with families to share progress updates, discuss developmental milestones, and address any concerns. Incorporate principles of childhood development and early intervention strategies to support children with diverse needs or special education requirements. Document observations and assessments to track developmental progress and inform lesson planning or individualized support plans. Qualifications EEC Infant Teacher Certification Experience working with Infants in an early education setting. Knowledge of early childhood education practices including curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Familiarity with special education principles, early intervention strategies, and literacy education for young learners. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, colleagues, and children. Always ready to laugh, love and have fun! •Assistant Teacher qualifications: Someone who loves children, is willing to learn and ask questions, isn't afraid to jump right in, join the fun and tend to the children's needs, is ready to make a difference! The Assistant hours are perfect for afterschool, approximately 2:45-4:45. Or the option of 1-4:45 is also available. Starting pay for Assistants is $17.50/hr.
