We will respond to your application within one business day. Our client is looking for fun and energetic Assistant and Floater Teachers to join their premier preschool in Middleton, MA . The ideal candidate must be willing to work with students 6 weeks to 5 years old; as well as be comfortable diapering and toilet training. This is a Direct Hire position with the school Full-Time; Monday - Friday; year-round or summer-only employment! Salary $17.00 - $21.00 per hour; Compensation depends on education, credentials, and experience in early childhood education. Benefits Child-Enrollment Discount (based on classroom openings); 90% off 1st child, 85% off 2nd child, 50% off 3rd child. Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance; Employer pays up to 50% Continuing Education Assistance; Up to $500 per semester Professional Development Assistance 401(k) with Match up to 4% Paid Time Off; Up to 19-days
Paid Holidays Open Positions Assistant Teachers:
any age group of your choice between 6 months to 5 years old!
Floater Teachers:
must be willing to work with all ages between 6 weeks to 5 years old.
Shifts:
any full-time shift within the operating hours; options for summer-only and year-round employment! Job Responsibilities Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children Plan, create and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum Maintain educational portfolios for each child Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities Maintain a clean and organized classroom Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
Qualifications Required:
High School Diploma Required:
Experience working with children 6-weeks to 5-years-old in some capacity (babysitting and nannying okay!) Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations - for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib Must meet background check eligibility Must be at least 18 years old Don't meet every qualification?
