Job Description
The Waldorf School of Cape Cod is seeking an hourly assistant for our Early Childhood program for the 2026-2027 school year. Our ideal candidate has some Waldorf early childhood teaching experience and/or Lifeways training or other experience working with young children in a school setting. We are seeking someone who is dependable, likes to work with colleagues, has good communication skills, and has a love for working with young children. The program includes time in the classroom, daily activities, snack/lunch, story, rest, and indoor and outdoor free play. Our early childhood program consists of a nursery for 3-5 year olds, and a kindergarten. Our Grades School serves grades 1 through 8, and offers a richness of experience in both class and subjects teachers in the areas of handwork, woodwork, foreign language, and music. The Waldorf School of Cape Cod is celebrating its 42nd year on picturesque Cape Cod. We are members of AWSNA and accredited by NEASC and are full members of WECAN.
