Hours will be regular, but we have some flexibility on what that will be. Someone who can work one full day per week 8-4 and then other hours as needed would be ideal. We operate on a school-year schedule, September-June which includes closing for three vacations (Winter, February and April) and observance of many holidays. Additional hours may be available at an hourly rate during our summer program. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in EEC licensed environments. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Tending to your students: Providing clear, firm and kind lessons and classroom structure; complete commitment and adherence to tenets of a Montessori classroom and culture; deep respect and kindness for each child; cultivating a culture of peaceful and respectful community; assisting children with their physical needs.
