Job Description

Special Education Paraprofessional-Inclusion

WSHS

  • Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning.
  • Alert the teacher of any problems or special information about students
  • Participate in in-service training programs, as assigned
  • Guide independent study, enrichment work and remedial work assigned by the teacher
  • Relate to students within the classroom in a manner consistent with the teacher's philosophy in the area of discipline and Instruction
  • Other duties as may be assigned
  • Experience working with special needs students preferred
Qualifications:
  • Associates Degree or 48 college credits attained or Workkeys, Associate degree preferred.
  • Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed
  • Experience working with children who have social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities is a plus
Salary:

Per Unit D Contract (salary range:$18.67/hr
