About the Position

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dependable PreK Classroom Teaching Assistant to join our early childhood team! The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children and is excited to help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where every child can learn and grow.

The Teaching Assistant will work closely with the classroom teacher to support daily classroom activities, routines, and learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with daily classroom activities and routines.
  
• Provide loving, attentive, and positive care to preschool-aged children.
  
• Help supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, rest time, and transitions.
  
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
  
• Encourage positive behavior and help children develop independence and confidence.
  
• Assist with preparing classroom materials, activities, and learning centers.
  
• Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and welcoming classroom.
  
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with teachers, families, and staff.
  
• Follow all school policies and health and safety procedures.
  
• Be a positive and dependable member of the teaching team.
  Qualifications
  
• Previous experience working with young children preferred.
  
• A genuine love of working with 4 year old-aged children.
  
• Patient, nurturing, and dependable.
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a busy classroom environment.
  
• Willingness to learn and grow as an early childhood professional.
  
• Must meet all applicable background-check requirements.
