Key Responsibilities:

Deliver instructional and behavioral assistance to Pre-K students under the supervision of the classroom teacher and special education team. Participate actively in classroom routines, activities, and transitions, promoting engagement and independence. Contribute to implementing individualized learning and behavior plans tailored to student needs. Help with personal care, daily living skills, and student communication as required. Foster collaboration by working side-by-side with teachers, therapists, and other staff. Ensure the learning environment is safe, welcoming, and inclusive for every child. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate observations to the appropriate team members.

Desired Qualifications:

Maine Ed Tech III certification or eligibility to obtain it. Experience working with young children in educational or early childhood settings. Familiarity with supporting students with special education needs is a plus. Strong skills in communication, teamwork, and classroom management.
