Two dedicated individuals are needed for immediate contract openings, working closely with a supportive school district near Portland, ME. In this position, youll make a real difference, assisting educators and helping students reach their full potential. This contract opportunity runs through June 11, with consistent hours from 7:15am-2:45pm and early release at 1:10pm on Wednesdays. You'll enjoy approximately 33 hours per week, providing stability while working within an engaging team. What we're looking for: Valid Ed Tech III license in hand (required for consideration) Experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to collaborate and work effectively with students, teachers, and staff Flexibility, reliability, and a genuine passion for supporting students growth Your key responsibilities: Assist lead teachers in delivering instructional and behavioral support Provide one-on-one and small group support to students based on individual needs Help manage classroom activities and daily routines Support students with varying abilities to ensure equitable learning opportunities Encourage positive behavior and engagement in classroom settings In this role, you will work on a W2 hourly contract and earn a competitive rate of $25-29 per hour.
