Qualifications & Preferred Background:
Prior experience as a Paraprofessional, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Ability to build rapport with children and support their individual learning and behavioral needs Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Patience, adaptability, and a caring approach to supporting students of varying abilities High school diploma or equivalent (completion of relevant certifications preferred) Capable of assisting with mobility, personal care, or behavioral management based on assignment
Key Responsibilities:
Work alongside teachers to assist with classroom management and instructional activities Provide personalized or small-group support to students, reinforcing lesson material and individualized education plans (IEPs) Support students with special needs, including those requiring behavioral interventions or personal care Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom atmosphere Assist with documentation and progress tracking as needed Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to ensure integrated student support Perks of the
