Havenwyck Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Education Assistant to join our team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.POSITION SUMMARY
The Education Assistant will support the head of the education team in all activities related to running the academic program at Havenwyck Hospital. The Education Assistant will also provide support for education team members and students throughout the school day. Duties and responsibilities, to include; but are not limited to: Participates as an integral member of the education team. Supports and guides students during daily activities. Maintains records and documentation as needed. Provides academic support based on individualized needs identified through assessment. Effectively utilizes techniques of classroom behavior management. Assists with administrative duties as needed. Adheres to hospital policies and attends mandatory trainings/in-services. Supports a trauma-informed care model. Performs other duties as assigned.
