Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational activities and lesson plans
  • Provide support to students with special needs, ensuring their inclusion and participation in classroom activities
  • Help create a positive and nurturing learning environment for all students
  • Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
  • Assist with classroom management, including behavior management and maintaining a safe and orderly environment
  • Support students in developing social skills and promoting positive peer interactions
  • Provide one-on-one or small group instruction to students as needed
  • Assist with the preparation of materials and resources for classroom activities
Experience:
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in a preschool or daycare setting
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
  • Familiarity with classroom routines and procedures
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed
Skills:
  • Special education knowledge and experience working with students with special needs
  • Proficiency in math concepts relevant to the grade level or age group you will be working with
  • Ability to manage a classroom of young children, including maintaining discipline and promoting positive behavior
  • Knowledge of toddler care techniques and strategies for engaging young learners We offer competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
