Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for children while promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. You will work closely with children to educate and guide them through age-appropriate activities, ensuring that each child receives the attention they need to thrive. Duties Assist the Lead Teacher in developing and implementing engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of each child. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration. Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing guidance and support as needed. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive teaching approach and share best practices. Provide first aid when necessary and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Skills Experience in childcare settings such as nannying, babysitting, or classroom environments. Strong behavior management skills to effectively address challenges in a constructive manner. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to educate children through play-based learning and structured activities. Experience working with children with disabilities is a plus. Certification in first aid or CPR is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and colleagues.
