Job Description
Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students for the 2026-2027 school year in the Grand Blanc area. This full-time role (37.5 hours weekly) offers immediate start dates and provides the chance to play an essential part in students' educational journeys. Here, you will be making a real impact—working 1:1 with students in both mild-to-moderate and more intensive classroom settings across all grade levels. Flexibility is key, as assignments may include resource, self-contained, or cognitively and emotionally impaired classrooms. What we're seeking: Experience or strong interest in supporting students as a paraprofessional within a school setting Ability to adapt to different academic and behavioral needs—ranging from health aide responsibilities like toileting/diapering to in-classroom instructional support Flexibility regarding classroom placements and caseload types Willingness to engage in various supportive roles to meet daily student needs Commitment to maintaining a compassionate and supportive environment for all students Qualifications (meet at least one): 60+ semester hours of college credit (official transcript required prior to presenting to the district) Associate degree or higher ETS Paraprofessional Assessment (minimum score of 460) SAT scores of at least 480 in evidence-based reading/writing and 530 in math
