Job Description
KinderCare is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support classrooms at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic School. In this role, you'll help create a warm, engaging environment that nurtures each child's social, emotional, and academic growth. Working closely with a lead teacher, you'll assist with lesson delivery, supervise children, prepare materials, and maintain a safe, clean classroom. You'll collaborate within KinderCare's inclusive, growth-focused culture, with opportunities for training, skill development, and career advancement while making a meaningful impact on children and families. Responsibilities Assist lead teacher in delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities aligned with Kinder Care and school standards. Supervise children to ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment. Support social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based and structured learning. Prepare, organize, and clean classroom materials and learning centers daily. Communicate positively with children, families, and staff to build strong relationships. Reinforce classroom routines, behavior expectations, and school policies. Assist with observation and documentation of children's progress as directed by the lead teacher. Collaborate with school and Kinder Care staff to support special events and programs. Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations consistently. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
