In this full-time position, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to enhance the educational experience of students. Your primary role will be to assist in the implementation of instructional programs, provide individualized support to students, and foster a positive learning environment. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and committed to helping students succeed. Responsibilities Assist teachers in the delivery of instructional activities and lesson plans. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, including those with special needs. Monitor student progress and behavior, providing feedback and support as needed. Help prepare classroom materials and resources for lessons and activities. Support students during transitions between classes and during lunch or recess. Collaborate with teachers and other staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or higher preferred. Previous experience working with high school students or in an educational setting is preferred.
