Full-Time, Monday-Friday The Learning Experience
  • Cascade is seeking a caring and dependable Infant Assistant Teacher to join our early childhood education team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves working with babies and wants to grow their career in early childhood education. You'll work alongside our teaching team to provide a warm, nurturing classroom where infants feel safe, loved, and supported through every stage of their early development. Key Responsibilities Support the Lead Teacher with daily Infant classroom routines and activities Provide nurturing, responsive care throughout the day Assist with feeding, diapering, sleep, and individualized care routines Engage infants through tummy time, sensory play, music, movement, language, and age-appropriate activities Support physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development Provide attentive supervision and maintain required classroom ratios Help maintain a clean, safe, organized, and nurturing classroom Communicate positively with families and fellow educators Follow Michigan childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous daycare, childcare, preschool, or infant care experience preferred Professional infant classroom experience is a plus CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus Comfortable with feeding, diapering, and infant care routines Patient, nurturing, dependable, and team-oriented Must meet applicable Michigan childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive pay of $17
