Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for children to explore and learn
- Develop and implement engaging activities promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Encourage positive relationships with children, colleagues, and families
- Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and kindness
- Observe and respond to children's individual needs and interests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding daily activities and child progress
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in childcare or a related field Experience in a GSRP Classroom Experience with : Creative Curriculum, and Teaching Strategies Gold. Child Development associate or an associate degree or greater in Early Childhood Education or a related field. Open availability, including flexibility to work varied shifts Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and engage in active play First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Benefits Paid school vacations, snow days, closures!
