Building Principal/Special Education DirectorGENERAL SUMMARY
The paraprofessional will work closely with one or a few students on a regular basis in order to providethem with the physical help and emotional support they need to gain the full benefits from theireducational placement under the direction of the supervising teacher(s). Compensation per Tahquamenon Area Schools Support Personnel Association agreement. (Startingwage is currently $17.50 per hour plus retirement and benefits.)ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Other duties may be assigned.)1. To assist assigned students in any physical tasks as directed by supervisor.2. Give reinforcement and support to students in various course subject areas or as directed bysupervisor.3. Support the teacher on methods, materials and strategies for reinforcements on target students.Teacher plans all lessons and be responsible for instruction.4.
