Mixed Age Teacher Aide (GSRP, 3 Year Old Preschool and Mixed Age)
Location:
Early Childhood Center formerly known as Curious Kids Starting August 25,2025
Job Summary:
Works in collaboration with other child care staff to ensure direct care to children. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Collaborates with colleagues to provide direct care to children at a ratio set by licensing standards.
Direct care includes:
supervision, academics, physical/mental well-being, social skills, and self-care skills. Assists in curriculum implementation and daily classroom activities with children. Collects anecdotal notes as instructed by curriculum. Collects data for behavior plans as necessary. Maintains physical safety of children and of the classroom environment and within the school. Ensured proper supervision of unstructured free play and structured activities in and out of the classroom. Performs regular cleaning duties as needed in classroom and center. Performs other duties as assigned. Regular and consistent attendance. Attends all professional development opportunities that are required and maintains training requirements by MiLeap. The above duties and responsibilities are intended to be representative of the nature of the work by this position. The listing is not all-inclusive. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Preferred CDA-Preschool credential. Preferred Preschool or Child care experience. CPR/First Aid/AED certification. Must complete 24 hours of annual professional development hours per MiLeap. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with district staff and the public. Ability to assume responsibility, display initiative, and exercise good judgment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
