Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in an educational setting supporting student learning and development. This contract role is ideal for professionals experienced as a paraprofessional, particularly those with a background in school environments. As a facilitator for virtual Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) sessions, you'll help create an engaging and supportive environment for students receiving virtual therapy services.
Key Qualifications:
Prior experience as a paraprofessional, preferably in a school setting Comfortable using technology and assisting students in virtual learning platforms Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to encourage student participation Organized, adaptable, and dedicated to supporting students with varying needs
Role Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation of virtual SLP sessions by coordinating schedules and preparing materials Supervise and support students during online speech therapy activities Collaborate with SLPs and educational staff to deliver an optimal therapeutic experience Observe student engagement and document progress or behavior concerns Troubleshoot basic technical issues to ensure smooth session delivery Foster a positive, inclusive environment that motivates students to achieve their communication goals This is an opportunity to utilize your paraprofessional skills in a new, innovative way.
