Position Overview The Assistant Preschool Teacher supports the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for young children. This role involves active participation in classroom activities, family engagement, and program events. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily classroom routines, activities, and supervision. Support implementation of the classroom curriculum , including lesson preparation and hands‑on learning experiences. Maintain a positive, organized, and child-centered classroom environment. Participate in parent-teacher conferences , home visits , and meet & greet events. Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and caregivers. Collaborate with the teaching team to ensure high-quality care and education. Uphold all program policies, licensing regulations, and safety standards. Qualifications Experience working with young children preferred. Education or training in early childhood education is valued and influences pay. Strong communication skills and a commitment to teamwork. Ability to build positive relationships with children and families. Dependable, patient, and enthusiastic about early learning.

$18.50 - $19.00 per hour
