Job Description

We are looking for a part time medical assistant. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm. We are looking for serious candidates who want to join our team.
Your key responsibilities:
Complete a full patient intake in Athena (EMR), including vital signs and detailed medical histories, to assist providers with the diagnosis and treatments plans Get EKG on all patients Respond to patient inquiries within our EMR or via phone and document your response Help with our various clinics - Pacer clinic, Monitor clinics, Rehab Authorize drug refills Help with pre ops and cardiac clearances Make sure all records are obtained in the chart prior to the physician seeing the patient
Preferred:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologists (AMT) One year experience working in a medical setting Experience with Athena EMR a plus (not required) Knowledge of Cardiac Medications is a plus (not required)
Pay Range:
$17.00 - $19.00 an hour
