A Teacher Assistant assists classroom teachers by providing extra individual attention and instruction to students. Helps teachers with recordkeeping, preparation for lessons and activities and supervising students. May work with special education students, or work in a school library or computer lab; may be called teacher aide or paraprofessional.

Job Overview Looking for an individual motivated to be a positive and supportive team member in our classroom environment. Providing our children with a safe, loving and stimulating learning experience. The starting rate of pay is based on continued education: $15.00 hour with no CDA $17.50 hour with a current CDA $19.00 hour with Associates Degree in ECE $22.50 hour with with BA in ECE Duties
- Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment
- Provide a safe and secure environment for children
- Assist with daily tasks such as mealtime, nap time, and diapering
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom Experience
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
- Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with young children
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs of student Requirements
