Non-Exempt Essential Functions Assist classroom teacher with student by guiding and reinforcing lessons; explain instructions and assignments to students one-on-one or in small groups; give make-up tests and quizzes; collect and maintain data as directed by the teacher; assist classroom teacher with preparatory materials. Assist in supporting classroom discipline; assist in implementing behavior management programs; assist with crisis intervention which may include physical restraints; Supervise and monitor students at their job sites. Maintain communication with teacher regarding schedules, student progress and problem solving on a daily basis. Attend meetings and in-services as requested. Paid Training. This position does not require a license, however, some of our paraprofessional positions require candidates to be considered "highly qualified" under the Code of Federal Regulations.

This status requires:

1) At least two years of college credits through an accredited institution of higher education; or 2) An associate's or higher degree; or 3) A passing score on a valid and reliable formal assessment demonstrating the knowledge and ability to assist with instruction in reading/language arts, writing, mathematics or readiness for each.

Compensation:

$21.70 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.
