Childcare Lead and Assistant Teachers 4150 Knob Drive, Eagan, MN 55122 $19.19 - $23.52 an hour - Part-time, Full-time $19.19 - $23.52 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Overview Join our dynamic team as a Childcare Teacher and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners! In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional growth. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help children explore, learn, and thrive through engaging activities tailored to their unique needs. Whether working with toddlers or preschoolers, you'll be instrumental in fostering early intervention strategies and implementing curriculum development that supports each child's journey toward independence and confidence. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including Montessori methods and early childhood education best practices. Facilitate engaging activities focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social skills to promote holistic development. Manage classroom environments effectively through classroom management techniques, behavior management strategies, and classroom organization to ensure a safe and welcoming space for all children. Support children with special education needs by adapting activities and providing targeted early intervention to promote inclusive learning experiences. Monitor and assess individual progress through observations, standardized testing, and ongoing evaluations to tailor instruction accordingly. Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other educators to communicate progress, address concerns, and support child welfare initiatives. Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, lesson plans, and incident reports in compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings with a strong understanding of childhood development principles. Knowledge of early intervention techniques, special education strategies, and behavior management approaches. Familiarity with curriculum development frameworks such as Montessori or other early childhood education methodologies. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Classroom management expertise combined with the ability to foster a positive learning environment through lesson planning and classroom organization. Experience with teaching physical education, literacy education, math instruction, and tutoring is highly desirable. Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; ongoing professional development in childhood development topics is encouraged. Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation $17.69-$20.65 based on education and experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options Heath insurance, medical, dental, vision and FSA, provided for full-time employees. Limited medical available for part-time workers. Education assistance including tuition reimbursement and certification, 401K (plus company match), life and disability insurance and child care discount available to all employees.Pay:
