This contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 school year, with immediate openings and assignments extending through early June 2027. Engage daily with students in both resource and center-based environments, supporting teachers in delivering individualized instruction and fostering positive student outcomes.

Key Requirements:

At least one year of paraprofessional experience in a school environment. High school diploma or equivalent. Must meet at least ONE of the following: Completed two years (60 semester credits) at an accredited higher education institution. Hold an associates degree or higher. Achieved a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment (455+) or ParaEducator assessments (65% Instructional Support, 70% Knowledge and Application). Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to support students with varying needs. Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, therapists, and families.

Responsibilities:

Assist classroom teachers in providing instructional and behavioral support. Support both resource and center-based caseloads, adapting to students individual educational plans and needs. Foster a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment. Provide one-on-one assistance and small group instruction as directed. Monitor classroom activities and student progress. Help implement educational and behavioral interventions. This assignment consists of 33.75 hours per week, following a traditional academic-year schedule.
