Special Education Administrative Assistant Starting Date:

Pay:
Commensurate with experience. Wage range $21-$25/hr
Basic Work Days:
Monday - Friday, 7:30 am until 4:00 pm, teacher contract days

July 30th, 2026 or until filled Holdingford Public School is seeking an individual to assist our team of Special Education Teachers. Under the direction of the Building Principal, the Special Education Administrative Assistant provides clerical support and special education due processes support for district programs. Job Duties Schedules and sends out due process documents as required. Distribute documents to Case Manager/Social Worker/Nurse. Assist teaching staff with the use of due process SpEd Forms Maintain due process files - create new student files, file private student paperwork, secures special education files, organizes files according to district procedures, shredding appropriate documents prior to transfer of files to district office, Scan due process records into historical database Maintain caseload lists, due process paperwork timelines and teacher information as directed. Review paraprofessional schedules and students served. Report annual special education service hours Schedule IEP Meetings Photo copying, collating, word processing, faxing, creating forms, filing, ordering, organizing, answering the phone, taking messages, copy/mail documents to other districts/agencies upon request and release, contact previous schools for records, email communication, and mailing Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software packages used for reporting. Familiarity with office equipment (copiers, fax, etc.). Demonstrated resourcefulness, taking the resources of the organization into consideration. Ability to analyze and interpret data. Ability to communicate effectively and to establish and maintain productive working relationships with staff and general community. Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately. Ability to exercise initiative and make independent decisions to reschedule work to meet deadlines or to effectively handle emergency work. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in working with records and confidential information.
