Flourish Children's Academy is a preschool program blending the Montessori Method and the Reggio Emilia Approach. We serve children ages 6 weeks old up until they attend kindergarten. We are seeking a caring, dependable, and energetic Assistant Teacher to float among the school to support our classrooms and daily operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: To be dependable, punctual, flexible, patient, and have a love for children Build positive relationships with children, families, and other team members. Be careful and conscientious in performance of duties, including use of positive words and actions Be respectful, thoughtful and considerate of other people. Display a positive attitude towards the entire school community (program, children, families, co-workers) Respect confidential information regarding children, families, and co-workers Provide classroom coverage as needed throughout the day. Ensure that each child is nurtured and respected in a way that encourages growth within a safe space.
