Intervention Education Assistant Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 26.25 hours per week
Start Date:
Fall 2026
Pay:
$23.34, with an additional $.75 per hour for an Bachelor's degree or an additional $1.25 per hour for an Masters degree

Required Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED and one of the following: An
AA, AS, AAS
(or higher) degree, or Two years of post-secondary coursework (60 semester credits or 90 quarter credits) from an accredited institution of higher education which are applicable toward a bachelors degree, or Passing score of 460 (or higher) on the ParaPro Assessment. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferably in Education) Prior education assistant/paraprofessional or teaching experience
Responsibilities:
Assist students with reading and math skills by use of oral reading, flash cards, conducting tests, and related instructional reinforcement activities Conduct tests and informal quizzes to assess students' mastering of material taught Assist in maintaining test records, preparing progress reports, and monitoring student progression Prepare and copy worksheets and learning materials Organize students' work/records for parent-teacher conferences Work with students on skills assigned by the classroom teacher Attend and participate in planning sessions with Intervention teaching staff Other related duties as assigned Independent School District No, 622, North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale, does not discriminated on the basis of sex and prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity.
